Intel has come through from a captured Taliban Elder. It is reported that in the towns of Gwan and Anjiran NATO sympathizers are being rounded up and are planned to be imprisoned by the Taliban in the area. They have built up a large presence in the surrounding hamlets and the nearby mountain range. BAF have been deployed to the area to exfil any sympathizers, destroy any weapons and munitions caches in the area and push further into Taliban held territory. The enemy here is locked between the advancing NATO forces and the ISIS troops from Clover Airfield so expect them to fight hard and use anything to their disposal. We must also be cautious of any ISIS assaults that take advantage of any ongoing battle. As we have received intel of executions taking place command has decided that platoon 'Eagle' must leave now before armoured vic support is available as it is currently tasked elsewhere.
