Situation
British 7th Armoured Brigade sucesfully took Al Zubain Airbase and made progress securing the outskirts of Basra City. The enemy provided to be a formidable foe. "DOG" Platoon, altho heavily battered and outnumbered, have been reinforced and their casulties CASEVAC-ed back to the Airbase. The platoon is now looking to fully secure the outskirts of the town. The Challengers 2 of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards suffered damage and had to be retreated for repairs, but the troops can rest easy knowing that the vast majority of heavily armed assets (tanks) have been dealth with confirmed total destruction of 14 Iraqi T-55 and 4 Iraqi T-72 tanks.
