Operation Vertex X
Day 9
Deploying
Situation
Due to lack of satisfactory progress during the last foray East of Johnston Airbase and the still-present ChDKZ threat around the Oil Fields, UNITAF will redeploy to the AO and attempt to re-secure the Oil Fields and surrounding land. The Nationalist FOB to the South has been reinforced since we were last in the area and will present a more capable threat to our force, and we have identified a Chedaki Command & Control Centre located in a castle further East. Securing this section of the Chernarus region will allow breathing room around our airbase and hopefully provide a stepping-off point for further pushes into ChDKZ territory later in the campaign.
