Situation
In an effort to locate the survivors and cargo from the crashed C-130, we have encountered severe resistance from the local actors in the scope of Somali insurgents and local Bantu rebels that are locked in conflict against the Kenyan Defense Forces. After hunkering down in the jungles just north east of the abandoned airstrip on RV Paris, we have had an airdropped resupply paired with Harriers executing precision strikes to the east of our position in an effort to drive the Somali forces into chaos and disarray. However, with adverse weather approaching fast, the helicopters that are recovering the last of the located cargo to your west are the last birds we'll have on station for the time being.
