Caution

This site is a work in progress

This site is finished to different degrees. Feedback is welcome. Please bear in mind that most of what you see, if not everything, is still a work in progress.

Data from the live site is synced here every hour. Anything you do on this site stays here. It is not copied back to the live site until we switch over.

Discord and permissions are linked. Be careful with admin actions. Some of them also change Discord.

Positions

1

Change image policy: upload size, how many files at once, where tag suggestions come from, which video sites are accepted, and how long a removed image can still be restored.

Positions

1

Positions that currently hold this permission, and where. It can be granted: Everywhere. To change who holds it you need Grant permissions, and to hold this permission yourself, everywhere or for the same platform, event type or team.

Settings it owns

5

Holding this permission lets you change these. All settings

  • Largest image

The biggest single file a member may upload, in megabytes. Too low and screenshots get refused; too high and the library gets slow and expensive to store.

    content.media.max_upload_size_mb
  • Files at once

How many images one upload may carry. Somebody posting a whole operation will hit this, and will have to upload again for the rest.

  • Who can be tagged

On means only the people who turned up to that operation can be tagged in its images, which is how it has always worked. Off means anybody can be tagged in anything.

    Key
    content.media.tag_from_orbat_only
  • Video sites accepted

Which sites a member may link a video from. Turning one off stops new links; videos already posted from it keep working.

    Key
    content.media.embed_providers
  • Days to keep a removed image

How long a removed image can still be restored before the file is deleted for good. Shorter frees storage sooner; longer gives more time to reverse a mistake.
