Operation Daybreak (2028)

The United State declared The Kingdom of Sahrani a “strategic instability zone,” accusing the Kingdom of hosting CSAT listening posts and missile infrastructure capable of striking targets deep into the USA. On May 11th, at 0400 local time, the US forces launched Operation Trident Resolve, aimed to neutralize CSAT influence and restore regional stability.

BACKGROUND

For decades, the Kingdom of Sahrani stood as an anomaly in the modern world — a constitutional monarchy balancing tradition with military strength, positioned strategically between major global powers. After the reunification of the country following the Sahrani conflict in 2006, the Kingdom worked directly with US and their NATO allies, expanding their economical and military power over the next decade.

In the early 2010’s NATO’s influence began to weaken globally following a series of military blunders in Chernarus and Takistan. These strategic failures lead to the formation of the EDA in 2020, weakening NATO. As a direct result, in 2023, the Friendly Alliance between the US and the Kingdom of Sahrani collapsed.

In 2026, facing increasing diplomatic pressure and economic sanctions from NATO-aligned states, Sahrani turned eastward for survival. The Kingdom signed a trade and support pact with CSAT, but has never officially joined. American intelligence assessed the agreements as a direct threat to their influence in the region.

By 2028, the US declared Sahrani a “strategic instability zone,” accusing the Kingdom of hosting CSAT listening posts and missile infrastructure capable of striking targets deep into the USA. The Sahrani government denied these claims, insisting its sovereignty was being undermined under false pretenses.

Diplomacy failed.

On May 11th, at 0400 local time, the US forces launched Operation Trident Resolve.
Carrier strike groups appeared off Sahrani’s western coast as airborne troops seized key airfields and ports within hours. Precision strikes crippled radar stations, naval bases, and the royal army headquarters.

The American stated objective:  Neutralize CSAT influence and restore regional stability.
