Operation Exclusion

You are operating inside the Chernarus Special Economic Zone, a region that was once an industrial and economic hub in the Green Sea region

Situation

You are operating inside the Chernarus Special Economic Zone, a region that was once an industrial and economic hub in the Green Sea region. The Region was opened to international corporations, most notably Obscura, under the promise of economic growth and technological advancement.

That promise was a lie.

Behind the scenes, Obscura conducted illegal and covert research, violating International law and agreements. When these activities began to surface, political pressure mounted and security forces moved to contain the situation. Rather than stabilizing the region, this response caused a complete collapse of order. Borders were sealed. Communications failed. Government forces withdrew.

Chernarus was abandoned and is now a sealed conflict zone. There is no functioning government, no emergency response, and no reliable supply chain. Infrastructure has decayed, utilities are unreliable or destroyed, and the population either fled, died, or adapted violently to survive. The area has become a battlefield where power is temporary, alliances are fragile, and resources are worth more than territory.

THE NATURE OF THE CONFLICT

  • There is no front line.
  • There is no higher command.
  • There is no guaranteed extraction.

Operations are driven by survival, profit, and information. Firefights happen not because of strategy, but because paths cross in contested terrain. Intelligence, equipment, and mobility matter more than numbers or ideology. The situation shown in recent footage confirms that Chernarus's collapse was not a single event, but a chain reaction, corporate corruption, government containment failure, and total loss of control.

THE BOTTOM LINE

You are not here to win a war. Before the conflict erupted, we were on a mission to extract assets for a client. We will complete this mission.

You are here to:

  • Survive
  • Gather intelligence
  • Secure valuable assets
  • Find a way out or gain control long enough to matter and guarantee your escape

Chernarus is a place where order died quietly, and what remains is a prolonged, unforgiving struggle fought in the ruins.

Welcome to the Chernarus Special Economic Zone.

FRIENDLY FORCES (BLUFOR):

OPPOSITION FORCES (OPFOR):

Vastok PMC

Hired by the billionaires and millionaires of the region to protect their interests shortly after things started to go south. After the govermnets collapse, they siezed the oportunity created by the power vacum. Now they control Chernogorsks, Elektro and the major airfields and ports as well as patrol and man checkpoints across the zone.  Hostile to almost everyone who crosses their path and chooses not to obey their orders.

Scavengers

Local population that took up arms after the collapse when there was no way out. Armed with what was left behind by the government forces. They can be found in villages and towns scavenging for supplies as well as roam the zone and usually engage on sight

INDEPENDENT FORCES (GREENFOR):

ION PMC

Not much is known about ION PMC’s involvement in the region before the conflict. But after the government shut down, they helped the civilian population to escape via their fleet. The evacuation only lasted a day, before Vastok PMC took over all ports and denied the ships to re-enter the harbour. Currently they occupy a few strategic locations around the zone and are generally neutral to all but Vastok PMC.

Local traders and their forces

In the zone you survive by trade and the connections you make. Local traders are neutral and respected by all sides. Somehow they can get almost anything into the zone...
