Operation Trident Watch (2025)

Following the collapse of several major cartels and crime syndicates throughout South America, a significant power vacuum emerged across the Caribbean. As violence spreads, the United States has placed the Coast Guard at the front of maritime security operations.

SITUATION

Following the collapse of several major cartels and crime syndicates throughout South America, a significant power vacuum emerged across the Caribbean. From the lack of competition, a new organization, Cartel Sombra Azul, took power. Combining narcotics trafficking and terrorist tactics, they grew their reach. Through cocaine distribution, weapons trafficking, and human smuggling, Sombra Azul has established armed enclaves throughout the region, expanding its influence into local governments, militias, and maritime shipping.

As violence spreads, the United States has placed the Coast Guard at the front of maritime security operations in Republic of San Cordova. While initially tasked with disrupting smuggling routes and conducting vessel interdictions, Coast Guard units could easily uncover larger networks. This included officials, mercenaries, weapons, and organized attacks. Cartel Sombra Azul is a large criminal organization that threatens regional stability.

Campaing Objectives:

  • Phase 1: Smuggling routes, track cartel leadership, and establish maritime surveillance.
  • Phase 2: Seize narcotic shipments, arrest operatives, disrupt logistic networks, and protect shipping.
  • Phase 3: Support local governments, deliver humanitarian aid, and free the ports from cartel control.
  • Phase 4: Raid terrorist camps, capture HTVs, and destroy stockpiles.
  • Phase 5: Assault cartel headquarters, capture cartel leadership, and transfer security back to regional control.
