Laser codes

Laser codes allow compatible munitions to be assigned a specific guidance code, preventing multiple laser sources from interfering with weapon guidance. In ACE, laser codes can be adjusted using Ctrl + Alt + Q/E to increment or change the currently selected laser code.

The FAC must communicate the active laser code to the pilot, allowing the aircraft to configure its weapons to guide onto the correct laser source.

This functionality only applies to ACE-compatible laser-guided munitions and will not function with non-ACE munitions. For simplicity, effective laser discipline and ensuring only one active laser source is present can achieve the same practical outcome in most situations.
