Use amiodarone to manage the cardiac rhythm
Administer amiodarone to:
- Support AED-based resuscitation - see FM/BG-201- Treat cardiac arrest with an AED(-X).
Dosage of amiodarone is as follows: No more than once every two minutes, maximum of four doses total.
Do note that usage of amiodarone might cause bradycardia (low heart rate) and heart rate must therefore be closely monitored during and after administration.
