Measuring Wind
For wind speed, use Screen 1 of your Kestrel.
Press Shift + K to see wind direction in the upper left corner of your screen.
In order to have an accurate wind reading, you need to be standing, facing directly into wind direction (the arrow in the top left corner must be vertically pointing down) with no obstructions in front of you.
Entering wind data into the AtragMX
The AtragMX accepts wind direction in “clock” values as read when facing the target: if the arrow is pointing directly downwards it will be 12, if it is slanted to the right it will be 1 and so forth.
The direction where the wind is coming from is the “o’clock value” to be used in the AtragMX.
