Tasks and Sequencing
AO Overview:
Phase 1:
Dragonfly 1 will mount the coyotes of callsign blackbird. Dragonfly 2 will mount the transport truck driven by eagle. All callsigns will proceed into the AO via the purple route.
Convoy order will be Blackbird, then Eagle, then Dragonfly actual, then Phoenix. Speed and spacing will be issued in mission. All callsigns should remain aware of the potential for ambushes, even within areas believed to be under friendly control. Phase 2 will commence with all callsigns reaching WP7.
Phase 2:
All callsigns will proceed to dismound Apples or Bananas. Following dismount Dragonfly 1 should push along the road north towards the encircled ANA forces while dragonfly 2 approaches and secures the ANA FOB. Unless otherwise tasked Blackbird should support Dragonfly and provide security for Eagle and Phoenix. Phase 3 will commence with the FOB secure.
Phase 3:
With the FOB secure Eagle, assisted by Phoenix, will load up as many ANA personnel as possible and RTB escorted (at least into friendly territory) by Blackbird. Dragonfly callsigns should prepare for counterattacks from the taliban to the north west and IS from the south east. Additional tasking may be provided based on intel passed on by the ANA commander. Phase 3 will end with Eagle returning to friendly territory with ANA onboard.
Phase 4:
Blackbird and dragonfly callsigns should repel any counterattacks while searching for any ANA not accounted for. Eagle should return to the FOB with a logpak (again, escorted through OPFOR territory bt blackbird). Further tasking will be given in the field.
ENDEX will occur when all ANA forces have been safely RTB.
