Situation
Background Information
After being pushed back out of Benamair Valley, UNITAF redeploys additional forces less than 8 hours later. ISIS Forces in the Area have not had much time to reorganize their defenses, but Drone Imagery shows they have mobilized multiple pockets of Infantry Fighters and Armoured Vehicles in an attempt at a hasty ambush on coalition forces.
With their cavalry and close air support assets, UNITAF forces commence a shock and awe assault.

Execution
Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to eradicate enemy forces and exercise UNITAF/SNA control over Amir Valley. Using shock-and-awe tactics, the commander intends to overwhelm the enemy force from the expected and only ground entry point from the northern main supply route. While the enemy will expect our approach, using overwhelming force including cavalry, air support and ground forces, continue momentum to take control of key installations in the valley, and send the enemy force in retreat south and south east.
The commander intends to focus forces and effort on the primary mission, leaving close air support and cavalry assets to deal with low priority contacts.

Tasks and Sequencing
Our convoy is on standby at the ISIS SNA western border while commanders coordinate movements. From this position, approximately 4kms from Phase 0, ground forces will mobilise in a Convoy towards the planned dismount location. The order of the convoy will be BISHOP, CASTLE, KING, the start and end points are shown below.
Due to an expected hasty ambush, the convoy orders are to push through, no infantry will dismount unless instructed to do so by the Company Commander. Calvary and close air support will supress and destroy identified positions, and CASTLE engineers will clear suspected IEDs on route, or they will be shot or avoided by cavalry. A-10Cs have a designated self-targeting-zone to the south, to engage any flanking forces.
On arrival to the dismount position, units entering Phase 1 disperse, with KING taking the north of the valley - primarily dealing with identified emplacements and expected enemy re-enforcements from the north east, and BISHOP the center dealing with the valley proper - including the fortified compound. Enemy presence in buildings is likely but due to the recent attack the majority of these buildings are not considered essential objectives. Platoons maintain a 1km maximum operating position at all times, to allow for momentum to continue to the key Phase 2 operations.
In Phase 2, BISHOP enters a supporting role providing base-of-fire for KING, as KING moves in to assault the stronghold from superior ground.
Units should expect further tasking to deal with rear-enemy positions south/south-east of the Stronghold.

Resupply
All units are permitted to carry additional supplies, spread loaded into platoon assets as directed and permitted by the platoon commander. LOGPAKs will be provided as required, by support units attached to CASTLE, via airlift from KNA and TLZs back from the front line, and re-positioned by support units in M113 APCs to the frontline. It's encouraged that platoons carry their own LOGPAKs to avoid delay in ground logistics.
Engineers for Cavalry units will be on-standby to provide vehicle support as needed.

Rules of Engagement
EPW to be turned over through OPCOC to be returned to KNA.
Close Air Support
Close Air Support, 2x A10-C when on station can be requested through the Platoon Forward Air Controller or Company Commander.
