Since the mid 1900’s, Columbia has been in a war on drugs with several cartels within the country producing significant amounts of product. Over the years this has caused significant economic turmoil with exports reduced due to smuggling issues, political corruption and state involvement in the production of drugs, which is recently suspected to have become more commonplace, as the amount of product produced seems to have significantly increased, despite the new Colombian Presidents target to oust all of the cartels and stop drugs being produced in the country. The product that is produced has had a huge impact across the globe over the years, with conflicts arising between countries over the product directly exported from Columbia.The US Government has decided it's time to act following a significant rise in overdoses and drug related crime within the US. With the support of the Columbian President, It's been decided to tackle the problem at the source. Following this, the 75th Ranger Regiment has been ordered to drop into the area that cartels call home, to seek and destroy the cartel from within.

Cartel force, during intelligence gathering operations, light infantry and technicals have been spotted in the local area.

RAVEN is tasked with dropping into Narino and securing a location in which the unit can build up and operate from with ease. STARLIGHT H have identified an old Columbian Army base that looks to have been taken over by Cartel forces in the area. This base looks ideal for our operations in the area, and has pre-built defences that we can use to ensure operational security. The base is located within 090 080

Raven's intention is to set up a new base of operations within Objective Eclipse for our future campaign in the region of Nariño.
We will conduct HALO N/E of the intended base, recce, assault and secure.
Any recce conducted along the way may assist future operations.

Phase 1 HALO insertion into DZ Snow, once regrouped move to R WP1. From there, establish feasibility of OP1 and conduct recce on the small settlement North- and the radio tower compound to the West- before moving on. Following recce, move on to R WP2 before bounding over road to establish OP2 if feasible. Recce of the docks to the East and other POIs where possible before moving on. Phase 2 Movement from OP2 toward R WP3. From here, we will scout a good position for the AP and overwatch into Objective Eclipse. Recce intention is find out all we can about enemy positions in the base and guard routes, and if possible prepare an entry to the base whilst maintaining stealth as long as possible. The element of surprise will delay enemy reaction forces. Sectors of Objective Eclipse are marked on map and intel suggests the following information on each: SEC A: Housing SEC B: CONSTRUCTION SITES AND EQUIPMENT SEC C: CHURCH GROUNDS AND ADDITIONAL HOUSING SEC D: INTENDED FUTURE BLACKSTONE HQ SEC E: CONTAINS A CONTROL POINT (CP2) AND MP BARRACKS SEC F: ENEMY COMMAND SECTOR, VARIOUS HOUSING AND HQ AREAS SEC G: ENTRANCE AND CONTROL POINT (CP1) Upon completion of Phase 2, adopt consolidated defensive positions inside Objective Eclipse. Enemy QRF may arrive, unless it has already been depleted during the course of the mission.
