Operation order
Situation
Background Information
Intel gathered from the capture of Arobster has led us to believe IS are preparing a secondary counter offensive from Kinduf airfield that was supposed to hit simultaneously with the forces gathered at Arobster, therefore we expect the enemy to have expedited their staging phase.
Not wanting to give IS any breathing room UNITAF is tasked with clearing out enemy forces EAST of the airfield to narrow the enemy attack path to the 2 bridges located on the NE side of the airfield.

Execution
Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to begin to secure the sector East of Kinduf in preparations for future movements to the airbase and city. Due to the suspicion of an enemy attack in the area, we will also be on standby to react to any significant movement of enemy forces throughout our AO.
Tasks and Sequencing
Phase 0 will include initial brief and transit toward Phase 1. Convoy will be conducted as follows:
ARCHER 2 - FOX 1 - FOX 2 - FOX 3 - ARCHER 1 - FOX 9 - VIGIL - BLACKSMITH
Phase 1 will mark the beginning of elements moving to assigned taskings. Fox 1 through 3 will move to assigned taskings, with Fox 1 setting up security North of the prison after their initial tasking. Any prisoners liberated from the prison are to be evacuated back to the nearest LRP.
Phase 2 will consist of assault on COP Castle as well as clearance of the town of Orfar.
-COP Castle assault:
Sec C1: COP centre with castle ruins
Sec C2: Fortification structures on rocky outcrop
Sec C3: Barrack/ housing area
Fox 1 and Fox 3 will follow designated routes and assault the COP from two angles, focusing on Sectors C1 and C3 respectively. Sec C2 will be hit hard by Archer before either Fox 1 or Fox 3 are able to move in to secure it.
-Fox 2 will push to and clear Orfar, with one Archer vehicle holding near their sector to respond to any armoured threats. The town is suspected to be occupied throughout.
Phase 3 will consist of further movements Northwards, with IbanCampBase along the plains and two identified enemy COPs to the very North of our AO. Plans here will be constructed in reaction to gathered intel/ recon and disseminated in the field.
Vigil & Blacksmith will set up and designate first Logistics Release Point [LRP] during Phase 1 and continue to establish new LRPs if required as the platoon moves onwards. LRPs will be communicated as they are established.
Throughout the operation, squad vehicles will be able to ferry supplies and personnel back and forth from LRPs. This will include any CPERS or civilians needing evacuation.
