Situation
In the time since we took Balota and the accompanying airfield from the Chernarus Nationalists, UEF teams have been working hard to lay the foundations of a permanent presence there. However, they are constantly harassed and raided by teams from nearby Nationalist-held Chernogorsk. UNITAF is requested to push into the city and neutralise military targets within so the UEF may set up Balota as a permanent base. We expect fierce resistance from the Nationalists and a near-fanatical defence of the city. The remaining Nationalists that have not fled or defected to one side or the other are among the most dangerous and indoctrinated. In the Nationalist FOB we recently captured, we uncovered intel detailing potential scorched earth defence plans and believe they may be put into effect during the defence of Chernogorsk.
