THIS IS A REAR OPERATIONS FOCUSED MISSION Botswana has suddenly erupted in a civil war, with the government being attacked by a alliance of national and religious militias seeking to overthrow the government. US forces stationed in the region are being activated to quickly respond after a call for assistance from the Botswanian government. Newly formed Lightning Task Force is tasked to move into alliance controlled territory and cut off one of the main path towards Gaborone, limiting the support to their frontline troops and disrupting their hasty advance to Botswana's capital. The first phase of the plan is to take over a disused airfield near the Dariyah mountain ridge that forms a natural chokepoint. Once the airfield is taken, additional equipment and assets will be airlifted to establish a forward operating base allowing more extensive operations to take place. Continue readingThis ORBAT
