Situation
Hunter platoon from the Sokolovi brigade are conducing a rapid air insertion via rotary-wing assets (Mi-17) followed by immediate clearance of the airbase in preparation for friendly assets being delivered to fortify it. They are supported by two KA-52 attack helicopters tasked to suppress enemy positions and provide close air support during the mission. When the airfield is secured and friendly reinforcements have arrived to hold the airbase, their objective is to secure the immediate towns next to the airfield to secure a wider perimeter. Friendly forces will conduct land operations in order to drive some of QRF forces away, as well as a SF team the night before has mined the roads into the airbase to slow down enemy response.
