Almost 3 weeks ago, the island monarchy of Regero experienced a MEI, short for "Meteor Event, Impact".
During said event, there was a partial airburst above the nation that resulted in widespread devastation and damage to the surrounding area, followed by a strong impact of the main body of the asteroid. We would give it no significance, however, the regime's refusal for international cooperation while admitting large numbers of Commonwealth of EuroAsian States science personnel and their attempts to keep the cooperative efforts a secret have peaked our interest enough, especially due to constant seismic and electromagnetic readings in the area surrounding the island nation itself given to us by survey ships and aeroplanes. As such, we are deploying a task force into the area to locate vital intelligence and personnel, extract as much data as possible, and start laying down the groundwork for a possible invasion of the island nation should it be deemed as necessary.

The unit tasked with infiltrating and surveying the area is an airborne-qualified SF detachment that will be inserted by a V-22 Osprey, via a HALO jump during blackout conditions.

As for supporting assets, you will be completely isolated from any logistical or transport assets on the ground, which means you are to maintain covert presence in the area and remain unnoticed for as long as possible. Should transport around the AO be necessary, you are at liberty to move on foot or commandeer enemy and civilian vehicles should you be able to do so at your own discretion.

The enemy force is a well equipped standing army comprised of both active and reservist elements, that is manning several checkpoints throughout the area.

The satellite footage we have managed to acquire and clean up shows that their presence consists of light transport vehicles and infantry, however we are not able to confirm how well armed or armored those mobilized infantry elements are, so you are to treat them as a high risk target until you can confirm otherwise.

You are tasked with locating and recovering intel crucial to the MEI, especially one that you deduce would be crucial to haltering or stopping progress in any research efforts by the kingdom of Regero or CEAS personnel assisting them. We can not rule out the possibility of the MEI being some form of a weapons testing gone awry, as it would put us at a disadvantage in whatever arms race it would produce.

You are to locate as much intelligence as you possibly can, disable or destroy as much vital infrastructure as you possibly can that is related to the research efforts, and recover any vital pieces of equipment, data or High Value Individuals related to said research, signal for extraction at a safe location, and exfil via the V-22 Osprey back to base.

The intent is too use stealth and subterfuge gathering intel and data about the POI and extract unseen

All elements will mount the osprey and !-2 will enter first and 1-1 will be last to jump We regroup at Regroup Alpha If unsafe Regroup Bravo Important: Gathering intel is our top priority, We should not take any enemy out unless required We do not have the capability to fight this enemy. for long . The enemy has NVG PHASE 1 We cross the river with ECHO 1-2 first and ECHO 1-1 second. Each covering each other We then move to Hill 35 north of our crossing point Where ECHO 1-1 recon POI West andECHO 1-2 Recon MEI and CP East Weapon Status : RED ECHO 1-1 sneaks up to PO WEST while ECHO 1 covers them and silently secure any intel and plant any charges for later demolition if needed. ECHO 1-2 will move pas POI west and get ready to recon POI North PHASE 2 ECHO 1-2 Takes POI North with stealth and get all the Data/intel plant any charges for later demolition if needed ECHO 1-1 Takes Overwatch watchin MEI and CP North Weapon Status : RED Once POI North is secured we will move to MEI where ECHO 1-2 Secures our rear and provide overwatch on CP North ECHO 1-1 will secure and observe any intel. PHASE 3 EX fill will be done South of our position depending on the mission parameters if Cover is blown ECHO 1-2 Takes out CP East and EX Fill LZ Alpha will be used if area allows for it if not Bravo Charlie or Delta will do if still Covert we will move past and cross at crossing point and use Ex Fill LZ Bravo or Charlie or Delta

There is no Logistical support for this mission all assets need to be carried by the teams them self
