During the last deployment, FOX was ambushed by an unknown hostile force. The attackers were swiftly defeated, and a subsequent search of their base of operations uncovered a concealed warehouse containing a large quantity of firearms and ammunition. Intelligence recovered from the site indicated a connection to personnel within the DDR. Further investigation by follow-on forces uncovered evidence that an officer of the East German military has been secretly supplying anti-reunification militants in West Germany with firearms and ammunition, apparently in an effort to sow further unrest and obstruct reunification. It remains unclear whether this officer is acting alone, as part of a wider network, or whether his actions are connected to elements within the East German government or military. Intelligence sources have identified the suspected officer as operating from the Weferlingen-Kaserne. He is known to leave the installation at a regular time each day. FOXHOUND is tasked with crossing into the DDR and covertly following the officer. Any meetings, locations, or activities connected to the weapons transfers are to be investigated. If possible, FOXHOUND is to capture the officer and covertly return him across the border for interrogation, if this can be accomplished without risking detection. Avoid unnecessary engagement with DDR forces. The operation is to be conducted with the utmost discretion. FOXHOUND is to cross the border in civilian clothing and has access to 2x Mercedes-Benz W123 equipped with concealed weapon compartments.

There will be no support

While not currently hostile, the potential enemy force is largely infantry with a potential for any vehicle support, and focused around the barracks and the border checkpoint.

Investigate the officer's connection to the hostile forces that attacked FOX and if possible capture him then bring him back across the border.

Without increasing tension capturing the officer and discovering the connection to the hostile forces

My intent is to make to use the intel to find the location and stealthy take the officer with us

PHASE 0 All personeel will be dressed up in Civilian clothing and look as much as possible as a civilian. A silenced pistol is the only weapon you can have on your person There will be silenced weapons in hidden compartments PHASE 1 We will be moving to the Weferlingen Where 1 team will move in the town and the other team will move to keep eyes on Weferlingen kaserne to see officers movement And Will tail them in a way it does not get noticed by the officer Communication between the 2 fireteams should try to avoid having the same team member following the target. PHASE 2 Once target has been followed and intel has been gathered where he meets and who he meets with . we will find a place to capture the target with out getting caught and transport him back to our own base.
