Background Information
THIS MISSION IS SET IN REFORGER. YOU MUST OWN IT.
Everon, 1989
General Alexei Zhukov- an ex-soviet commander, and leader of a small army of the island of Everon- has staged a coup and taken martial control of a once democratic microstate in the mid-Atlantic region.
After gaining approval with the UN, the United States has committed a task force under the operational designation Blacksmith to move to the island and wrest control from the rogue military state being set up by Zhukov.
Initial landings are beginning, with the aim to secure a beach head on the Southern shores of Everon...
Execution
Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to establish a beachhead on Southeast Everon by assaulting Saint-Pierre via Anchor Peninsula. A secondary element of this purpose is recon by force to determine the exact composition, capability and command of the Soviet occupation.
