Situation

Background Information

The year is 1968, the USA never deployed to Vietnam. The USSR took the fall of Southern Vietnamese forces as an opportunity to forward deploy troops and reinforce their position in the Vietnamese peninsular. The PSRV welcomed this with arms open. Last week the PSRV formally invaded Laos and Cambodia, both nations governments quickly fell and both PSRV Forces and USSR Forces have begun reinforcing the area. Our Intelligence assets in the region believe that they may be staging for an attack on either Australia or The Philippines. This CANNOT happen

After Securing FSB Quan Loi in previous weeks the joint US Army and Australian forces have held their ground against probing attacks from join VC and USSR Forces while strengthening our foothold in the region. During this time USMC elements have arrived to reinforce the region and plan to make their presence known with a frontal beach assault to secure Saigon

KNIGHT 9 M48 Patton Sword 1 M50 Ontos Both Vehicles are disabled on the beach after the first assault wave and need to be repaired before use ROOK 4 equipped with mine clearance vehicle for initial beachhead (LVTE-1 with MICLIC)

Once the port has been taken MIKE 1 & 2 will stage themselves for an attack on Saigon 4.1 ROOK 4 will commence logistical work prioritizing the vehicles of KNIGHT 9 and SWORD 1 PHASE 2 Upon entering Saigon MIKE 2 will sweep the northeastern ruins before assaulting OBJ-Lucky strike, meanwhile MIKE 1 will clear the path towards FRP-2 and hold it until ROOK 4 gets FRP-2 set up PHASE 3 MIKE 1 will clear the area directly south of FRP-2 and to OBJ-Newport MIKE 2 will clear the area north of OBJ-Newport PHASE 4 The squad that arrives at OBJ-Camel first will clear it, the other squad will clear the area to the west PHASE 5 MIKE Platoon will move to OBJ-Marlboro via ASR Bronze Once there MIKE 1 will provide BOF allowing MIKE 2 to enter the FOB
