After more than a decade of brutal civil war, the Republic of Livonia remains deeply fractured. Despite a ceasefire signed six months ago, the country is far from stable. Warlords, militias, and corrupt factions continue to vie for control, undermining efforts to restore peace and normalcy.

To support the fragile peace process, the United Nations has deployed a peacekeeping force predominantly composed of British troops, alongside contingents from other allied nations. This multinational force is tasked with monitoring ceasefire compliance, protecting civilians, facilitating humanitarian aid, and assisting in rebuilding civil institutions. Their presence brings a cautious hope for some respite from the violence, but are unwelcome by the controlling force of the majority of the southern portion of the nation, the Libonian Liberation Front.

Among the various armed groups, the Livonian Liberation Front (LLF) stands out for its increasing boldness and aggression. The militia employs guerrilla tactics, frequently harassing civilian populations, ambushing supply convoys, and disrupting local governance. Their operations create pockets of instability that threaten to unravel the delicate ceasefire.

Livonia’s police force struggles under the weight of internal corruption and infiltration by hostile elements, limiting its capacity to enforce law and order effectively. In many areas, police depend heavily on support from international peacekeepers to hold the line against escalating violence.

UN Peacekeeping forces are currently en-route to Livonia to support logistical operations involving supply runs to local civilian centers affected by the recent civil war. The exact estimated time of arrival is currently unknown. These forces will provide necessary reinforcement for ongoing humanitarian efforts and operational support within the region.

Livonian Liberation Front forces are irregular and operate under the command of a local warlord exerting control within the area. Intelligence reports confirm that these elements are aware of the presence of UN Peacekeepers and maintain a hostile posture. Their activity is sporadic, consisting primarily of small-scale engagements and harassment, which pose ongoing risks to both personnel and supply lines.

The mission requires establishing a Forward Operating Base at Objective Alpha. Upon securing the FOB, peacekeeping personnel will initiate coordination with the local civilian population to facilitate operational stability. Intelligence suggests a nearby hostile outpost, this is to be handled if confirmed.

The desired end-state consists of the following conditions: a fully established and operational FOB at Objective Alpha; the nearby town secured and cleared of hostile forces; and the provision of humanitarian aid to the civilian population. These conditions will form the baseline for continued peacekeeping and stabilization efforts in the region. Enemy spheres of influence within the AO to be neutralised.

The purpose of the OP is two fold; Firstly we will escort Shield to set up a FOB on the outskirts of Gieraltow, after we have escorted Shield we will make our way to Gieraltow to establish a rapport with the local population and ascertain the positions of any near by enemy camps.

BANDIT 1 and SHIELD 4 will move along route Aztec to the proposed site of the FOB at Objective Alpha where SHIELD 4 will remain for the rest of the op. BANDIT 1 will then move to Gieraltow and conduct a foot patrol introducing ourselves to the local population in order to gain their trust and understand how the instability in the region is affecting them as well as to ascertain the positions of any near by enemy positions. BANDIT 1 will patrol through the centre of Gieraltow, BANDIT 1-1 will continue east along the road up until the marked LOA, BANDIT 1-2 will move north and patrol round until they return to the hospital. After BANDIT 1 has conducted its foot patrol in Gieraltow we will conduct assaults on any enemy positions the civilian population has notified us of.
