THE ALBERTIN CARTEL’S DAYS ARE NUMBERED, AS IS THAT OF THE DICTATOR GOVERNMENT OF ISLA ABRAMIA. OVER THE PAST SEVERAL WEEKS REVOLUTIONARY FORCES HAVE TAKEN CONTROL OF THE ISLAND AND PUSHED THE REMAINING MEMBERS OF THE CARTEL OUT, ALONG WITH THE FEW REMAINING SOLDIERS AND OFFICERS OF THE ABRAMIAN ARMY.
OUR VERY SUCCESSFUL CAPTURE OF HIGH RANKING MEMBERS OF THE CARTEL AND ARMY DURING THE LAST OPERATION HAVE GIVEN US EXCELLENT INTELLIGENCE AS TO THE WHEREABOUTS AND DISPOSITION OF THE REMAINING CARTEL MEMBERS. THEY ARE HOLED UP IN THE ISLAND OF BLANCO, JUST EAST OF OUR POSITION. THE ISLAND IS STRONGLY DEFENDED BUT IT IS OUR BELIEF THAT THE ENEMY MORALE IS BROKEN AND CAN BE OVERCOME QUICKLY BY FORCE.
ACCORDING TO PRISONER INTERROGATIONS THE CARTEL HAVE TAKEN REFUGE IN THE OLD HOSPITAL FOR THE MENTALLY ILL, LOCATED IN AN OLD CASTLE IN THE CENTRE OF THE ISLAND. THE REMAINING ARMY FORCES ARE PROVIDING LIMITED SECURITY FOR THE CARTEL AT DIFFERENT PLACES ON THE ISLAND, INCLUDING SOME AA BATTERIES THAT SHOULD BE NEUTRALISED IN ORDER TO ALLOW FOR UNHINDERED AIR OPERATIONS.

COMPLETING ALL PRIMARY OBJECTIVES SUCCESSFULLY.

The intent for today is for us to secure all of the objectives & the island itself, we need to secure this island because the last of the cartel leaders are now hiding there. We need to either capture or kill the commanders, none can escape.

We will mount in boats at the safehouse peir, from there we will head East South East to the bottom of the island where we will make a brief landing, securing a AA site and planting explosives that will need to be detonated at a later point. After the explosives are planted, we will then mount back up in the boats and head to the north eastern corner of the island and make a proper infil there.

At this point 1-1 will start there flank west towards the other AA position & 1-2 will move to OP1 to get eyes on the first objective in the town. During this time we will maintain stealth. When 1-1 reach the AA position and secure it they will plant explosives on the AA position and then they will move to OP2 where we will detonate all the explosives and start the attack on the town. When the attack begins both teams will leave there OP positions and enter the town, clearing assigned sectors.

Once the town is secure we will then move to the insane asylum and secure it. While the little bird we have in support, performs airstrikes on all other targets. Once the asylum is secure and there is no more hostiles known to us, we will endex at the asylum where we will say goodbye to this part of Parabole.
