After the push along the coast most of the remaining Taliban forces have fled to the stronghold valley of Mandol. An Airborne Platoon reinforced with Snipers is dispatched to clear remaining Taliban positions in the Northwestern Mountain ranges.

Taliban removed from Uzbin allowing us to focus on IS elements.

This Deployment will be in a very sparsely populated area, as well as in mostly open terrain. Both HITMAN as well as DRAGONFLY will be crucial in enabling GUARDIAN's movement and securing our flanks. DRAGONFLY 5-1 will be in a Chinook for Troop Transport, CASEVAC and Logistics transport DRAGONFLY 5-2 will pilot a Wildcat with CAS capabilities, as well as transport for HITMAN

Phase 1 will be inserting into the mountaineous AO at either LZ Crumpet or LZ Biscuit. Dragonfly 5-2 and Hitman will be inserting ASAP to conduct recon As Guardian moves to the first 2 Camps, Hitman will provide Overwatch and strike targets of opportunity. Phase 2 will consist of reinserting to LZ Jaffa and clearing the Oasis. Phase 3 will see Guardian taking out one of the last Taliban positions in the area.

- Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field) The primary means of CASEVAC is by AIR conducted by DRAGONFLY 5-1 and requested via Guardian 8. (in case of a FUBAR Casualty, they are to be flown back to either FOB Heartland or Clover Airfield)

CPERS should be turned over to DRAGONFLY 5-1 for evacuation to the rear.

CAS provided by Dragonfly 5-2 and authorised via Guardian 7, in accordance with SOP.
