Operation Valiant Guardian (2020) XI
All below may change based on itel gathered on the ground, however below is the ideal which we shall stick to unless intel determines otherwise.
ALL CALLSIGNS shall step off from FOB Rakija mounted. LIGHTNING 1 shall follow the green line to AP1 while LIGHTNING 2 follows the yellow part to AP2. HAMMER 3 should accompany LIGHTNING 2 and screen their west from QRF from Mikhalevo and deal with any fixed emplacements/OPFOR armour. Once both squads are in position LIGHTNING 1 shall clear sector 1 and LIGHTNING 2 sector 2. APC's should support their squads at all times under the direction of their squad lead.
Following this we shall cross PL1 south in convoy in the order HAMMER 3, LIGHTNING 1, LIGHTNING 2, LIGHTNING 9.
LIGHTNING 1 shall step off from AP3 to clear sector 3
LIGHTNING 2 shall step off from AP4 to clear sector 4
HAMMER 3 shall deploy as needed to screen from QRF and deal with any fixed emplacements/OPFOR armour.
Once this sector is cleared ALL CALLSIGNS shall proceed across PL2 with LIGHTNING 1 clearing sector 5 and LIGHTNING 1 clearing sector 6.
Should we complete this plans for Phase 4 shall be made in the field
BISHOP 4 and VIGIL 4-1 should remain behind lines at the direction of LIGHTNING 8 in order to support

Background Information
A sucesfull recon mission indentified several enemy positions around Groznovo and Rylovo, high command has now authorized an assault with the aim to get within an arm distance of Beketov.

Enemy Forces
Friendly recon confirmed the presence of a enemy mechanized company, reinforced with at least two tank platoons.
Proximity to the main airbase provides a high risk of enemy using air assets.

Clearing enemy positions and liberating the towns of Rylovo, Groznovo, Gavrilovka and Limonovo, routing the enemy back into Beketov or south into the woods.
End-state
Once the enemy is reuted, endex in field. Friendly engineer corps will construct defensive fortifications facing Beketov after endex.
