Situation
After Able Company seized control and held the coastal town Vierville-sur-Mer against Wehrmacht counterattacks, Fox Company, an infantry unit supported by armour from the 743rd Independent Tank Battalion, began their push West through consolidated and entrenched Wehrmacht defensive positions towards the town of Louvières. Their goal is to finally dislodge the German 916th Grenadier Regiment out of the town, thus securing Omaha beach and creating a defensive buffer zone in the region that will allow for further landings, as the allies prepare to push further into Normandy.
