The role

Every member of the platoon is a rifleman first and foremost. In a fireteam, the rifleman is the lowest ranking or newest member of the team. This role is a great way to get new players into the action, without burdening them with additional responsibilities such as those carried by the AR and AAR.

ORBAT rules

All ORBAT rules

Named in other rules

  • Squad Advisory Holds at most one Rifleman. Names Rifleman: shown on the Rifleman too. Operations · Every platform
  • Platoon Advisory Holds at most one Ammo Bearer or Rifleman, counted together. Names Ammo Bearer and Rifleman: shown on each too. Operations · Every platform

The ORBAT builder checks these. A required rule stops an ORBAT being published; an advisory one asks the planner for a reason.
