Follow the medical chain of command
In any instance where there are active casualties the senior medic on scene should be coordinating medical activities. This is particularly important for CCP’s as often it is a lack of coordination which results in longer down time for both casualties and the wider units they belong to.
Therefore the following hierarchy exists, broadly following the associated tiers for a given role:
MERT Officer>SF Medic>Platoon Medic/MERT Technician>Combat Medic/MERT Assistant/Squad Medic>CLS
In an instance where multiple medical personnel on the same tier are present (eg. a combat medic and a MERT assistant) whomever was initially coordinating the area continues to do so.
