Role specific: Medics

Combat Life Saver

A CCL in addition to (weight permitting)

  • 1x surgical kit
  • 20x elastic bandage
  • 20x packing bandage
  • 20x QuickClot bandage
  • 4x splint
  • 6-8x torniquet
  • 5x epinephrine auto-injector
  • 5x morphine auto-injector
  • 1-2 purple smoke grenade

Combat Medic

Includes the Platoon, Squad and Combat Medics; a CCL in addition to (weight permitting) 

  • 1x surgical kit
  • 20x elastic bandage
  • 20x packing bandage
  • 20x QuickClot bandage
  • 4x splint
  • 10x torniquet
  • 8x epinephrine auto-injector
  • 5x morphine auto-injector
  • 1-2 purple smoke grenade
  • 8-10 litres of blood (500ml+)

Response Medic

Note that response medics, such as those attached to MERT or CMT may have their CCL trimmed and inventory tailored due to their intended non-combative roles.

  • MERT Medics should wear an open faced flight helmet and aircrew jumpsuits
  • CMT Medics should wear the CCL appropriate uniform and ballistic protection
