The role
A Designated Marksman is a rifleman equipped with specialized equipment suited for vision and precision fire. Their task is to support their team as a functional rifleman, and provide accurate fire and observation on the enemy from ranges beyond what normal riflemen can achieve when the need arises. They are responsible for: Engaging targets with accurate fire. Supporting the team by targeting high-priority enemy combatants. Complementing the engagement range of a maneuvering element.
