Authority on Doctrine Change

Ultimate Authority: Central Command (CC) FM/BG-611 holds the ultimate authority to approve, modify, or reject changes to UNITAF doctrine. They assess whether proposed changes align with Part 4: Philosophy of Doctrine FM/G170 and the overall goals of the unit.

Delegated Authority: Central Command delegates the practical application and interpretation of doctrine principles to Training Command (TC) FM/BG-615 and it's staff and contributors. These groups are expected to develop a deep understanding of UNITAF doctrine, guiding the change process and ensuring proposals align with Part 4: Philosophy of Doctrine FM/G170. Central Command's final approval is intended to be a confirmation of this process working effectively.
