The role

A medium sniper carries a rifle such as the M2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle and is the junior member of a Scout/Sniper team whose role it is to carry and employ the sniper rifle, they engage long-range or precision high-value targets and key enemy personnel, all the while listening to his spotter's directions and provides intelligence and reconnaissance to the platoon. The Sniper picks the specific 'hide'/shooting position(s) that will be used and plans the route that the sniper team will use to get to their 'hide' position.
